Promotions Policy

Hidden East offers a wide variety of promotions and campaigns to help you uncover the rare and extraordinary flavours of the East. To participate, customers must meet the conditions or complete the actions specified on the corresponding activity page. This may include reaching a minimum spend requirement or purchasing a qualifying quantity of designated products. Unless explicitly stated, only one promotion can be applied per order.

All specific terms and conditions are subject to the latest information provided on the corresponding campaign page. Offers generally cannot be combined with other promotions or applied retroactively to existing orders.

1. Newsletter Welcome Offer

  • Eligibility: This promotional offer is exclusively extended to new subscribers and may be redeemed on a singular basis per individual.
  • Redemption: The discount must be redeemed within 10 days of subscription and is valid solely for purchases made on the Hidden East official website.
  • Combination Rules: Unless otherwise stated, this offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotional codes, brand specific discounts, or site wide clearance events.

Specifically, the Newsletter discount is strictly prohibited for use on any brands currently featuring active offers or dedicated price reductions.

2. Brand Specific and Sale Promotions

  • The Reward: Certain brands or collections may feature dedicated price reductions or percentage discounts.
  • Exclusions: Brand specific promotions stand alone. Unless explicitly stated, promotional codes including the Newsletter discount are not valid on items already marked as Sale or Clearance.

Furthermore, any products marked as "Price on Application" or requiring a manual inquiry are strictly excluded from all promotional offers and discount codes.

3. Gift with Purchase (GWP)

  • The Reward: Customers may receive a complimentary gift when purchasing qualifying full-size products such as 500ml bottles or meeting a specific quantity threshold.
  • Limit: Unless stated otherwise, GWP offers are limited to one gift per order regardless of the quantity of qualifying items purchased.
  • Availability: Promotional gifts are provided with limited stock and are allocated on a first come, first served basis at the time of order processing. To take advantage of the offer, the qualifying item must be added to the shopping basket while promotional stock is available.
  • Fragile Items: While every care is taken in packaging, Hidden East is not obligated to replace promotional gifts like tasting glasses that are damaged in transit.

4. Complimentary Standard Delivery

·       Threshold:

    • Free standard delivery is available for orders with a final subtotal of £60 or more after all discounts have been applied. Shipping fees, taxes, and gift wrap services are excluded from the subtotal calculation.

Complimentary delivery applies to our Standard Economy service only. Express or Next-Day shipping options are excluded from this offer.

    • Exclusions: Please note that this offer is subject to regional restrictions. Free delivery is not available for orders shipping to Northern Ireland or other remote regions (including the Scottish Highlands and Islands). Standard shipping rates will apply to these areas regardless of the order value.

·       Return Shipping Responsibility

    • Our Error: If the return is due to a faulty product or incorrect item sent, Hidden East will cover the return shipping costs.
    • Customer Choice: If the return is due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the items to us as per our Shipping and Returns Policy.

5. Basket Display and Discount Priority

  • Threshold Maintenance: If a customer removes a qualifying product from the shopping basket and the actual remaining purchase value falls below the minimum requirement, the discount or free shipping will be automatically removed.
  • Cancellations: If an item that is part of a deal is cancelled, the promotional price and the deal will no longer be applied to the remaining order.

6. Refund and Return Protocol

  • Actual Purchase Value: If a qualifying promotional item is returned, the refund will be based on the actual price paid after the discount was applied rather than the original Recommended Retail Price (RRP).
  • Full Order Returns: If the entire order is returned, the customer will receive a full refund of the actual amount paid.
  • Gift Returns: In the event of a return for a product that included a Gift with Purchase, the complimentary gift must also be returned in its original, undamaged condition. If the gift is not returned, the retail value of the gift will be deducted from the final refund.

7. General Provisions and Fair Use

  • Geographical Limitation: Promotions are valid solely for residents of Great Britain.
  • Age Verification: All promotions involving alcohol are strictly limited to individuals aged 18 or over. A Challenge 25 policy is operated upon delivery.
  • Anti Abuse: Hidden East reserves the right to cancel any order where there is suspicion of a customer creating multiple accounts or using technical workarounds to bypass the once per individual rule.
  • Right to Modify: Hidden East reserves the right to change, withdraw, or cancel promotions at any time. Hidden East reserves the right of final interpretation of these promotional terms.
