Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing
All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Customers will receive an order confirmation email upon successful placement of an order, followed by a shipping notification once the order has been dispatched.
In the event of high order volumes, processing times may be extended. Hidden East will notify customers via email if a significant delay is anticipated.
2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at the point of checkout. Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Hidden East is not liable for delays caused by third party carriers or other external factors.
- Standard Shipping: 3 to 5 business days
- Express Shipping: 1 to 3 business days
3. Geographical Coverage
Delivery services are strictly limited to addresses within Mainland Great Britain, covering most areas of England, Scotland, and Wales.
Please note the following regional restrictions:
- Excluded Territories: We do not offer delivery to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, or the Isles of Scilly.
- Remote Areas: Delivery is not available to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, or other remote postcodes as defined by our carrier partners.
- International Shipping: We do not currently provide international shipping to any locations outside of the specified areas in Mainland Great Britain.
4. Alcohol Deliveries and Age Verification
For orders containing alcoholic beverages, strict legal compliance measures apply:
- Challenge 25 Policy: Our delivery partners operate a Challenge 25 policy. Recipients who appear to be under the age of 25 must present valid photographic identification proving they are 18 years of age or older.
- Delivery Restrictions: Orders containing alcohol must be accepted in person by an adult. Such orders cannot be left in a safe place, with a minor, or at an unattended delivery point.
- Failure to Verify: If valid identification cannot be provided or no adult is present, the delivery will be withheld. The courier will provide instructions for redelivery or collection at the customer's expense where applicable.
5. Tracking and Delivery
A tracking number will be provided via email once the shipment has been dispatched. Customers may use this reference to monitor the status of their delivery through the carrier’s tracking portal.
6. Missed Deliveries
For orders that do not contain alcohol, couriers may leave the parcel in a designated safe place or with a neighbour if the recipient is unavailable. If these options are not feasible, instructions for redelivery or collection will be provided. For orders containing alcohol, the provisions in Section 4 apply.
7. Risk and Damaged Goods
Hidden East is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after a successful delivery has been confirmed by the carrier. If a package arrives damaged, the customer must report the issue to support@hiddeneast.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt. Reports must include clear photographic evidence of the damaged goods and the original packaging.
8. Accuracy of Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping information provided at checkout is accurate and complete. Hidden East is not liable for failed deliveries or losses resulting from incorrect address details provided by the customer.
